Muy machista este articulo... ¿que las mujeres no liderizan sino que estan en segundo plano arreglando flores, o vistiendo a famosos...? hay que ver... entonces las mujeres como las japonesas, atrás escribiendo mientras el hombre dicta... y para más colocan la foto de unas chicas maquillandose... como si sirviesen para eso.

Para mí el mejor trabajo del mundo es mantenida con chacha. Todo el tiempo para hacer lo que me plazca sin dar explicaciones a nadie y encima me dan el dinero. INCREIBLE!!!! peor Utópico aunque yo conozca a algunas. QUE SUERTUDAS!!!.

Si te cruzas con un post titulado $title$, con contenido $title$, no es que el autor se haya pasado al Klingon.

La culpa es de la aplicación de WordPress para iPhone que parece que no acaba de ir muy fina (vamos, que no funciona : )

A algunos se les va a acabar el negocio. Hace poco que Last FM ha hecho un llamamiento a los músicos para que suban sus obras y se lleven dinerito directamente desde Last FM cada vez que su canción suene. ¿Y las discográficas? Esas son las que tendrán que acabar buscando otro modelo de negocio y pronto.

Si la promoción cada día es más sencilla (gracias en parte a internet) y la producción cada día es más barata (avances tecnológicos) ¿qué le queda a una discográfica por hacer? Cada vez menos. ¿Por qué tendría que dejarse un músico mangonear y perder gran parte de sus ingresos poniendo a un intermediario en el medio? Mucho mejor darse a conocer y vivir de los conciertos, que es lo suyo.

Eso sin contar con los pequeños incovenientes de firmar un contrato con una discográfica y todo su equipo de marketing para que “dirijan tu carrera“:

Llevo tiempo preparando Tomate y Mozzarella, un pequeñísimo magazine online sin periodicidad y sin pretensiones, que es un poco como un blog pero más elaborado (y con foticos!).

En pleno auge de la micropublicación, Tomate y Mozzarella es un blog en el que cada post lleva semanas (¡y lo peor es que lo que más lleva es conseguir que parezca que se ha hecho en dos minutos!).

Poco puedo decir, gracias a todos, practicamente de la nada surgió una de las quedadas más impresionantes de los últimos años, ha sido un verdadero placer, ¡nos vemos en Noviembre!

The following video is part of a project called “Shrinking cities” and shows the evolution of this phenomenon with an intelligent use of time, mapping and quantitative data. I can´t believe the cities mentioned bellow have the “Shrinking disease”: Detroit, Manchester/Liverpool and Halle/Leipzig.

SizeChina, a design research project aiming to create a database of Chinese head and face shapes, has received one out of two 'best in show' award during the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) competition. It is for the first time that a design research project wins the prestigious best in show award at the IDEA. SizeChina is in good company; the other best in show award went to Apple's iPhone.

Remember that photoshopped image of the iranian missiles? The one where one of the four was faked (as if it made any difference). Yeah, this one:

an original book label design specifically designed for structuring big academic libraries. a book's cover loses it's importance in a vast library collection, squashed between "this" book & "that" book, resulting in a mismatch of textures, typefaces & colors. as a result, it is the spine that one generally look's for & more specifically, its call number label. with so much pressure on the call number label, the tiny, inconsistent sticker to be slapped on inconsistently seems designed carelessly.

instead, the wrap around label system system uses the 1st letter of the call number to classify every book into 1 of 21 general subject matters, resulting in an information book shelf grid. colors are assigned to the subjects as a rainbow gradient, while all additional information is listed on the back

the new music video for Radiohead's song "House Of Cards", of which the images were generated without cameras or film, but with 3 different real-time 3D laser scanners that are normally used to capture geometrical terrains & objects. several low-tech approaches were used to deliberately "break up" the data. anyone is invited to & upload the original data & then post the visual results.
